What is the OTD Project?

OTD stands for "On This Day," a concept born from a bad habit I had of posting content on platforms only to remove it shortly thereafter. This pattern was especially prevalent on Mastodon, where despite having auto-deletion settings, I would often manually delete posts within a few days. The reasons behind this behavior are unclear to me, but I am committed to ending it in 2024.

Almost all my ideas, except for those related to photography post-production, originate in Obsidian. This means that the posts I've deleted over the years, along with all the undeveloped ideas, are never truly gone; they're merely a quick shortcut in the command palette away from revival. This resurrection of past thoughts and expressions is the essence of the OTD Project.
